In her Giving Back Program, Lowey partners with YOU to create a custom philanthropic day with book donations and author visits for kids and teachers at Title 1 schools in the community of your choice. How it Works

Initial Meeting

Lowey meets with your team to identify your goals, how many schools you would like to give back to, and what geographic areas you would want to reach. From there, we identify the schools, pick dates, and purchase the books.

Day of the Event -
Author Visit!

On the day(s) of the event, Lowey visits the Title 1 schools we have selected and gives them an inspirational author visit all about entrepreneurship, business, and big ideas. Employees from your company are invited to attend the author visit. Your company will receive a special shout out during the school assembly and thunderous applause is guaranteed.

Day of the Event -
Book Donation!

The books are donated by your company and purchased in advance at a discounted price. Each book will include a personalized bookplate sticker with your logo on it. After the author visit is complete, your employees may be able to hand the books out to the children and take photos with the kids whose parents have signed and returned release forms.

PLS is a 24/7 financial service center business with over 200 locations throughout the United States. No stranger to philanthropy, they were looking for a new and different way to give back to the individuals in the communities near their stores.

Over the past three years, Lowey & PLS have teamed up and visited Title 1 Schools in Dallas, Houston, Brooklyn, Boston, and Chicago. To date, Lowey has donated dozens of free author visits to Title 1 schools that otherwise could not afford an author visit. In addition, PLS has donated thousands of books to students and teachers at these Title 1 schools.
